Welcome to Gaurantor Escrow. By accessing or using our website or services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with any transaction. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our services.

1. Definitions

Service / Middleman Service: The process where Garantor Middleman receives funds from the Buyer, confirms delivery from the Seller, and releases funds accordingly.

  • Buyer: The party sending money and expecting an item/service.

  • Seller: The party delivering an item/service and expecting payment.

  • User: Any person or business using the Service.

  • Secure Account: The designated bank account where funds are held temporarily during a transaction.

  • Dispute: Any disagreement between the Buyer and Seller concerning delivery or payment.


2. Eligibility

By using our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. You also agree that the information you provide to us is truthful and accurate.

3. Description of Service

Garantor Middleman functions strictly as a neutral third party.

Our role:

  1. Receive payment from the Buyer into a secure account.

  2. Verify delivery or evidence of delivery from the Seller.

  3. Release funds only after the Buyer confirms, or after policy-based review.

We are not:

  • The Seller or producer of any item.

  • Responsible for item quality, originality, performance, or defects.

  • A participant in external conversations or side agreements.

  • Liable for long-term issues after delivery.

4. How the Service Works

Buyer and Seller agree to use the Service.

  1. Buyer transfers funds to the Service’s secure account.

  2. Confirmation of payment is sent to both parties.

  3. Seller ships or delivers the item.

  4. Buyer confirms delivery within 24 hours (or agreed timeframe).

  5. Funds are released to the Seller.

  6. If there is no response from the Buyer within the timeframe, the Service may release funds after reviewing available evidence.

5. Fees

All fees will be disclosed before the transaction begins.

  • Fees are non-refundable after payment confirmation.

  • Additional administrative charges may apply during dispute resolution.

6. User Responsibilities

Users agree to:

  • Provide accurate contact and account details.

  • Follow all transaction instructions.

  • Respond to communication promptly.

  • Provide genuine evidence during disputes.

  • Avoid harassment, threats, or attempts to manipulate the process.

  • Not submit forged screenshots, false confirmations, or fake videos.

  1. Prohibited Activities

The Service may not be used for:

  • Fraudulent transactions

  • Fake items

  • Illegal or banned goods

  • Money laundering

  • Bypassing the middleman after initiating a deal

  • Chargeback fraud

  • Abusive behaviour toward staff

  • Fake delivery or fake payment evidence

Any User involved in these activities may be permanently banned.

8. Enhanced Verification (KYC) for High-Value Transactions

Any transaction exceeding ₦500,000 requires mandatory identity verification from both the Buyer and Seller.

KYC may include:

  • Full legal name

  • Government-issued ID (NIN Slip, PVC, Driver’s License, Passport)

  • Selfie for identity match

  • Phone number confirmation

  • Proof of bank account ownership

  • Any additional documents required for security

Transactions above this threshold will be paused until KYC is completed.

Refusal to complete KYC will result in:

  • Suspension of funds release

  • Possible cancellation of the transaction

  • Refund or transfer decisions based strictly on available evidence.

9. Dispute Resolution

If a disagreement arises:

  • Both parties must provide clear, valid evidence.

  • The Service will review all available information.

  • A final decision will be made based on policy and evidence.

Decisions made by Gaurantor Middleman after review are final and binding.

10. Limitation of Liability

If Garantor Middleman is not responsible for:

  • Item quality, authenticity, or performance.

  • Shipping delays or logistics failures.

  • Damages occurring after delivery.

  • User errors, including sending money to wrong accounts.

  • Misunderstandings between Buyer and Seller.

  • Losses resulting from incomplete or late evidence.

  • Any transaction conducted outside the official communication channels.

Once funds are released according to policy, the Service has fulfilled its obligation.

11. Refund Policy

If Refunds may be granted when:

  • The Seller fails to deliver.

  • Evidence clearly supports non-delivery.

Refunds will not be issued when:

  • Buyer confirms delivery (even by mistake).

  • Buyer changes their mind after shipping begins.

  • Product defects are discovered after confirmation.

  • Buyer fails to respond in the required timeframe.

12. Privacy & Data Usage

We collect certain information for:

  • Fraud prevention

  • Security

  • Dispute resolution

  • Communication

Data may be shared only when required by law or compliance.

We do not sell user data.

13. Modification of Terms

We may update these Terms at any time.
Continued use of the Service confirms acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Any dispute that escalates beyond internal review will be settled under Nigerian jurisdiction.
